The invention belongs to the technical field of carbon materials, and particularly relates to a preparation method of a carbon-carbon composite material. The preparation method of the carbon-carbon composite material provided by the invention comprises the following steps: (1) pre-dipping and coating carbon fiber cloth with a resin mixed solution, and then carrying out curing treatment to obtain a carbon fiber prepreg; the resin mixed solution comprises phenolic resin, a filler, a coupling agent, an accelerant and an organic solvent; (2) laminating the carbon fiber prepreg to construct a multi-layer structure, pressing, and carbonizing an obtained resin-based blank to obtain a carbonized body; and (3) sequentially and repeatedly carrying out the steps (1) and (2) on the carbonized body, and carrying out graphitization treatment to obtain the carbon-carbon composite material. According to the method, the compatibility between the resin and the carbon fiber matrix and the wettability of the resin in the carbon fiber can be improved, and the strength and heat resistance of the carbon-carbon composite material are improved, so that the carbon-carbon composite material is not layered in the carbonization and graphitization processes, and the product yield is improved.
