The invention belongs to the technical field of building safety protection, and particularly relates to a steel structure building construction facade protection device which comprises a cross rod, a pair of steel pipe columns, a baffle and an anti-falling plate, the anti-falling plate is located on the inner side faces of the steel pipe columns, a notch is formed in the front end face of the anti-falling plate, and the section of the baffle is in a U shape. A positioning column capable of entering the anti-disengaging plate from the notch is fixed to the inner wall of one side of the baffle, threaded holes are formed in the baffle, and a pair of two-way threads matched with the two threaded holes are formed in the cross rod. According to the device, the baffles are installed on the cross rod through cooperation of the threaded holes and the two-way threads, then the positioning columns on the two baffles are inserted into the anti-falling plate from the notches, then the cross rod is rotated to drive the two baffles to abut against the anti-falling plate, and due to the fact that the baffles are limited by the anti-falling plate, the baffles cannot be separated from the steel pipe column; therefore, the stability of the protection device is effectively improved.
