The invention discloses an installation process of a modular elevator shaft. The modular elevator shaft comprises a framework, installation wings, a connecting mechanism and a glass wall. The mounting process of the modular elevator shaft comprises the following steps that S1, four beam bodies are mounted at the ends of four beam column sections before leaving a factory; s2, the lower frame section is installed at the elevator shaft installation position on site; s3, a crane is used for hanging the upper frame section on site, an operator assists in aligning a guide plate in the upper frame section with a beam column section in the lower frame section, and the guide plate in the upper frame section is inserted into the beam column section in the lower frame section under the assistance of the crane; s4, welding the middle beam column section of the upper frame section and the middle beam column section of the lower frame section; and S5, hanging the glass wall beside the frame section by using a crane on site, and mounting the glass wall on the mounting wing through the connecting mechanism. The installation process of the modularized elevator shaft solves the problem that in the prior art, a framework is needed to support a glass wall, and consequently a cross beam in the framework is exposed.
