The invention relates to the technical field of hoists, and provides a screw hoist which comprises a machine base, a driving cover is fixedly mounted at the top of the machine base, an outer cover and a linkage cover are fixedly mounted on the outer side of the driving cover and the outer side of the machine base correspondingly, and a bearing shaft is rotationally connected to the bottom end of the driving cover and the top end of the machine base; the inner side of the bearing shaft is in threaded connection with a screw rod, and the top end of the screw rod is in threaded connection with the outer side of the top end of the driving cover; according to the screw type hoist, the outer side of the screw at the position of the machine base can be supported through the arranged long supporting rod, meanwhile, the top end of the screw can be supported through the arranged short supporting rod, and a pushing block arranged in the long supporting rod slides towards the interior of the long supporting rod when making contact with the screw; and therefore, when the lubricating ball rotates in the oil storage tank, lubricating oil in the lubricating ball can be smeared to the outer side of the screw rod through the lubricating ball in the rotating process, and then the use performance and the lubricating effect of the whole screw rod type hoist can be improved.
