The invention discloses a construction process of a deep local expansion underground diaphragm wall, which comprises the following steps: S1, after a site is leveled, measured and lofted, a ground wall groove is dug in the site, the length of the ground wall groove is determined according to the length of the underground diaphragm wall to be built, and then the side wall of the ground wall groove is reinforced to form a reinforced layer; s2, after the perpendicularity of the side wall of the ground wall groove is detected and is qualified, the bottom expanding rotary drilling machine is moved to the position of the ground wall groove; s3, the bottom expanding rotary drilling machine lowers a drill rod till the position below the bottom expanding drill bit reaches the design position of the local expansion section of the underground diaphragm wall, and the perpendicularity of the drill rod is controlled in the drill rod lowering process; and S4, the positions where the local expansion sections are designed are sequentially subjected to rotary digging expansion section by section in the direction of the ground wall groove. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the vertical bearing capacity of the underground diaphragm wall is improved, the insertion depth of the underground diaphragm wall can be reduced, the side pile engineering amount is reduced, waste of construction materials is avoided, the engineering cost is saved, and the construction period is shortened.
