The invention provides a deodorization closestool and a deodorization method thereof.The deodorization closestool comprises a main control panel, a deodorization unit, a deodorization fan, a foam generator and a detection unit, the deodorization fan, the foam generator and the detection unit are connected with the main control panel, and the deodorization fan is used for sucking odor in a urinal of the closestool into the deodorization unit; the odor is discharged after being purified by the deodorization unit, the foam generator is used for generating foam and inputting the foam into the urinal to block the odor, and when the detection unit detects that a person uses the closestool and/or detects that the use parameter of the closestool reaches a first preset value, the main control panel selectively controls the deodorization fan and/or the foam generator to be started. According to the deodorization closestool, the deodorization mode can be flexibly selected, and the use experience is effectively improved. The deodorization method is particularly suitable for effectively controlling deodorization of male urination and is also suitable for sitting deodorization, the deodorization function is more economical and reliable, and the use experience is better.
