The invention discloses a screen window structure which comprises a window frame, at least one window sash is arranged in the window frame, a width-adjustable adaptive plate is installed on the window sash, a handle groove is formed in the window sash, a shielding plate for shielding the handle groove is movably arranged on the handle groove, and a handle of an external window can penetrate through the handle groove. According to the structure, a handle of an original window can be exposed through a handle groove, meanwhile, an adjustable adaptation plate is arranged on a window sash and can be adjusted on site, and in other words, the width of the adaptation plate can be adjusted through an adjustable structure between a concave plate and a convex plate; and the prefabrication performance is improved.
