The invention discloses water-permeable foamed ceramic as well as a preparation method and application thereof. Relates to the technical field of foamed ceramic preparation. The foamed ceramic comprises the following raw materials: aggregate; alumina cement; a foaming agent; preparing powder; plant fibers; a silane coupling agent; a metal oxide; and a solvent. According to the water-permeable foaming ceramic, in the calcining process, the silane coupling agent can be hydrolyzed, the plant fibers and the ceramic matrix are tightly connected together through siloxane bonds in the silane coupling agent, the connection is beneficial to forming a firm ceramic structure, and meanwhile the overall performance of the ceramic is improved. The silane coupling agent in the water-permeable foamed ceramic can improve the compatibility of an interface and reinforce the structure, so that the stability and mechanical properties of the ceramic are improved.
