The invention provides a multifunctional rail carrier and a carrying method thereof.The multifunctional rail carrier comprises a bottom plate and a top plate erected above the bottom plate through a connecting plate, the top plate is connected with the two sides of the bottom plate through sliding doors, and a first pulley block and a second pulley block are arranged at the bottom of the bottom plate; the first pulley block is a universal rolling wheel used for moving on the flat ground, the second pulley block is a guide wheel suitable for moving in a rail, the guide wheel is in pivot connection with the bottom plate, and the guide wheel can be turned over in the circumferential direction along a pivot rod so as to achieve conversion between the position below the bottom plate and the position outside the bottom plate. The sliding door has the beneficial effects that switching carrying between the flat ground and the guide rail can be achieved, independent or simultaneous opening and closing of the four sliding doors on the two sides are achieved through an ingenious structure, and the sliding door is more suitable for carrying of needed materials.
