The invention discloses a preparation method of a ferrite electromagnetic shielding material. The ferrite electromagnetic shielding material comprises the following raw materials: NiO, ZnO, CuO, Fe2O3 and Co2O3; the preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out dry ball-milling mixing on powder of the raw materials for 2-5 hours to obtain a mixture with the particle size of less than or equal to 1.0 mu m; sintering the mixture at 800-850 DEG C for 2-3 hours to obtain a pre-sintered material; carrying out coarse crushing on the pre-sintered material, and then carrying out continuous dry fine crushing to obtain fine powder with the particle size D50 of 0.5-0.8 micron and the particle size D90 of 1.5-1.8 microns; stirring and defoaming the fine powder, an additive and an organic solvent to obtain tape casting slurry; casting the slurry onto a PET release film, drying and slicing to obtain a cast sheet; and sintering the cast sheet at 900-1000 DEG C for 2-3 hours to obtain the electromagnetic shielding material, the preparation method disclosed by the invention is obviously more efficient, and corresponding drying steps are reduced.
