The invention provides a reserved hole open caisson construction method which comprises the steps that a construction area is measured, a base is excavated and leveled, and sand and plain concrete cushion work is carried out; binding a first section of reinforcing steel bars on the base paved with the sand and plain concrete cushion layer according to a construction drawing; a wooden plug is manufactured, cement mortar is poured into the wooden plug, and the formwork and the wooden plug are installed according to a construction drawing; concrete pouring and curing work is conducted in the installed formwork, a first section of well wall is formed, and soil backfilling and tamping are conducted on the periphery of the first section of well wall; the first section of well wall is excavated to sink, measurement and deviation rectification are conducted in time, and the next section of well wall is manufactured; earth is excavated to sink the open caisson to the designed elevation, open caisson bottom sealing and top plate construction are carried out to form a complete open caisson, and the remaining well wall and a middle-layer plate are backfilled; the construction period of the open caisson is shortened, and manual labor is saved.
