The invention relates to a high-carbon SiCN precursor, an impregnant, a ceramic-based composite material and a preparation method, and belongs to the technical field of preparation of ceramic-based composite materials. Compared with the conventional SiCN ceramic, the high-carbon SiCN ceramic has a higher temperature-resistant grade, and the ceramic-based composite material developed by taking the high-carbon SiCN ceramic as a matrix has more excellent high-temperature mechanical properties. Through molecular structure and chemical synthesis design, a high-carbon SiCN precursor is developed, and the continuous fiber reinforced high-carbon SiCN ceramic-based composite material is prepared by taking the high-carbon SiCN precursor as an impregnant and adopting a liquid-phase impregnation process. The process is low in raw material cost, the liquid phase impregnation process is good in applicability, and the liquid phase impregnation process is suitable for being applied to development of bearing components under the high-temperature condition and has good application prospects.
