The invention discloses a steel structure column and concrete beam connecting structure and a construction method thereof.The steel structure column and concrete beam connecting structure comprises a steel structure column and a concrete beam, and the two opposite sides of the steel structure column are each provided with a through hole; the supporting assembly comprises a plurality of supporting pieces and a sealing plate, the supporting pieces are fixedly arranged on the inner side wall of the steel structure column and arranged below the through hole, the sealing plate is laid on the multiple supporting pieces, and an inner pouring space is defined by the sealing plate and the inner side wall of the steel structure column; the concrete beam comprises horizontal main reinforcements, joint stirrups and concrete, the horizontal main reinforcements penetrate through the through holes in the two opposite sides of the steel structure column, the joint stirrups are fixedly arranged on the connecting sections of the horizontal main reinforcements, and the concrete is poured into the inner pouring space and wraps the horizontal main reinforcements and the joint stirrups; and the waterproof ridge strip is poured at the internal corner between the top of the concrete and the outer side wall of the steel structure column, and a water guide slope surface is formed on the side, away from the internal corner, of the waterproof ridge strip. The problem that water seepage is prone to occurring due to the fact that an existing connecting joint of the steel structure column and the concrete beam is exposed is solved.
