The invention relates to the technical field of production processes, and discloses a production process of a refractory material, the refractory material comprises, by mass, 10-40 parts of refractory particles, 10-20 parts of phosphate, 2-4 parts of additives and 10-15 parts of water, the refractory particles comprise, by mass, 15-30 parts of alumina, 25-40 parts of vermiculite and 10-20 parts of perlite, the additives comprise, by mass, 1-3 parts of an expanding agent and 2-4 parts of a cellulose material; the process of the production formula of the refractory material comprises the following steps: S1, screening and grinding: screening 15-30 parts of aluminum oxide, 1-3 parts of an expanding agent and 10-20 parts of phosphate in batches; according to the invention, the aluminum oxide, the vermiculite and the perlite are respectively used as raw materials of the fireproof material for production, and are presented in a form, so that the yield of the fireproof material produced by using the perlite as the raw material and the yield of the fireproof material produced by using the vermiculite are basically the same, and the perlite has stronger pressure resistance compared with the vermiculite.
