The invention provides superfine stone powder foam concrete and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the field of building materials. The superfine stone powder foam concrete comprises the following components in parts by weight: 350-450 parts of cement, 50-150 parts of fly ash, 50-100 parts of 400-mesh stone powder, 50-100 parts of 200-mesh stone powder, 5-12 parts of a water reducing agent, 3-6 parts of fibers, 1-1.4 parts of a foaming agent and 263-280 parts of water. The preparation process comprises the following steps: 1, preparing a dry material; 2, diluting the foaming agent; step 3, preparing a water reducing agent solution; step 4, preparing cement paste; and step 5, pouring to prepare the superfine stone powder foam concrete. The superfine stone powder foam concrete has the advantages of high strength, low price, waste utilization, realization of high additional value of stone powder, low water absorption rate, high stability, fire prevention, excellent thermal insulation performance and the like.
