The invention discloses a small and micro river ecological landscape restoration system, which comprises a water drop ridge, a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe, the gabion wall is used for supporting the drop sill; the riprap group is used for constructing a deep pool-shoal sequence and comprises riprap blocks which define a nutrient temporary storage area, and refuge gaps for small fishes and shrimps to pass through are formed between the adjacent riprap blocks; provided is a vegetation tower. The invention further discloses a method for restoring the ecological landscape of the small and micro river. According to the small and micro river ecological landscape restoration system and the restoration method thereof, a water body of a river channel falls down through the forepoling end, a water curtain in contact with air is formed, the oxygen content in the river channel is increased, generation and reproduction of anaerobic bacteria are inhibited, the water body is prevented from blackening and stinking, the cleanliness of the water body is guaranteed, and the ornamental value is increased; the riprap group facilitates reproduction and refuge of small fishes and shrimps, and the vegetation tower is matched to further facilitate long-term stable, continuous and good development of the water body ecological landscape system.
