The invention discloses a geological survey method, and relates to the field of geological survey, and the method comprises the following steps: 1, cleaning a to-be-surveyed area, and after the surveyed area is selected, cleaning impurities above the surveyed area; 2, a slurry containing hole is excavated, after the rack is moved to a to-be-surveyed area through a vehicle body, a mounting rod and a slurry drill bit are moved to a rock core drill bit and a drill rod through an oil cylinder, the mounting rod and the drill rod are fixed through a driving assembly and a clamping assembly, and then a motor, a first hydraulic cylinder and a synchronous lifting assembly are driven to work; and step 3, geological exploration and sampling: resetting the slurry drill bit, exposing the rock core drill bit, drilling and exploring the geology under the work of the driving motor and the first hydraulic cylinder, and sampling the geology. The mud drill bit can be directly installed on the drill rod to be used for digging the mud containing hole, manual operation is not needed, a rock core drill bit does not need to be detached, exploration time is saved, and the labor intensity of workers is reduced.
