The invention discloses a non-circular variable-radian pool wave absorbing device which comprises non-circular side plates, wave absorbing plate sub-components, brake pads, brake discs, brake calipers, hydraulic rods, cross beam rods and a base. The two ends of the wave absorbing plate sub-components are connected with the non-circular side plates, gaps are formed between the adjacent wave absorbing plate sub-components, and the number of the wave absorbing plate sub-components is determined by the perimeter of the non-circular side plates. The two sides of the non-circular side plate are connected with brake discs, the hydraulic rod is connected with brake pads and brake calipers, the beam rod penetrates through the non-circular side plate and is connected with the base through the hydraulic rod, the height of the non-circular side plate can be adjusted by adjusting the length of the hydraulic rod, and the radian of a surface wave source can be adjusted through rotation of the non-circular side plate. According to the wave absorbing device, the transmission coefficient can be effectively increased, the reflection coefficient can be effectively reduced, meanwhile, the performance needing to be consumed by wave climbing is improved, the possibility of rolling and breaking phenomena is improved, the wave absorbing capacity is improved in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and then interference of reflected waves on experiments is reduced.
