The invention provides a refractory brick for a flame path wall of a carbon roasting furnace and a preparation method of the refractory brick, and belongs to the field of refractory materials. The refractory brick for the flame path wall of the carbon roasting furnace comprises the following substances in percentage by weight: granular materials and fine powder materials, the granular material is formed by combining pyrophyllite particles with one or more than two of low bauxite clinker particles, flint clay clinker particles or carbon furnace used waste brick particles, and the fine powder material is formed by combining high-aluminum raw material fine powder, pyrophyllite fine powder, corundum dust collection powder, plastic argil fine powder or/and silica powder. According to the refractory brick for the carbon roasting furnace and the preparation method of the refractory brick, provided by the invention, the problem of high manufacturing cost of a refractory brick for a flame path wall of the carbon roasting furnace in the prior art is solved, and meanwhile, the high-temperature performance index requirement of a refractory brick product is met.
