The invention provides a lock body assembly which comprises a first shell, a gear sleeve, a first reset piece, a shifting piece, a gear assembly, a key and a first rotating shaft, the first shell is provided with a containing cavity, a plurality of protrusions are arranged in the gear sleeve, the gear sleeve is provided with a first limiting piece in a protruding mode, and the first reset piece is connected between the side wall of the containing cavity and the gear sleeve in an abutting mode. The shifting piece is arranged on one side of the gear sleeve and comprises a connecting part and a shifting part, the shifting part deviates from the first reset part and is arranged on one side of the first limiting part, the gear assembly deviates from the first limiting part and penetrates out of the containing cavity and comprises a first gear in meshed transmission connection with the protrusions, and the key penetrates out of the first shell and is arranged on one side, deviating from the first reset part, of the gear sleeve. The first rotating shaft penetrates through the connecting part and the gear assembly, is in close fit with the connecting part and is in clearance fit with the gear assembly. The lock body assembly provided by the invention is beneficial to improving the mutual connectivity. The invention further provides a lock capable of solving the technical problem that the knob assembly cannot be opened after the door hole is opened obliquely.
