The invention relates to the technical field of ship construction, and discloses a ship steel door lock catch which comprises a rotating component, a door lock catch and a locking component. The toggle plate is fixedly arranged on the steel door outside the door; the pressing plate is arranged outside the door, the first end of the pressing plate is detachably connected with the rotating component, and the second end of the pressing plate is rotationally connected with the toggle plate through a first rotating shaft; the rotating shaft is sleeved with the first elastic piece, one end of the first elastic piece is connected with the pressing plate in an abutting mode, and the other end of the first elastic piece is connected with the steel door in an abutting mode; and when the connection between the first end of the pressing plate and the rotating component is released, the first elastic piece can drive the first end of the pressing plate to rotate in the direction away from the door frame. According to the ship steel door lock catch, the opening angle of a steel door can be increased, and the pressing plate is prevented from affecting opening of the steel door.
