The invention provides an ecological rapid recovery method for saline-alkali desertification degraded habitat vegetation in an arid region, and belongs to the technical field of environmental governance. The method comprises the following steps that sand barriers are laid, annual saline-alkaline tolerant herbaceous plants are sown between strips of the sand barriers, and saline-alkaline tolerant trees and shrubs are transplanted; the annual saline-alkaline tolerant herbaceous plants are subjected to seed dressing and sowing, and a seed dressing material comprises fermented livestock and poultry manure and agricultural and forestry waste mixed sandy soil; and the saline-alkaline tolerant trees and shrubs are inoculated with tubulophysocheilus mosseae roots. According to the method, the saline-alkali tolerant plants are adopted for vegetation recovery, engineering measures are reduced or not used for saline-alkali soil improvement, and damage to the earth surface is avoided; annual herbs are main plant materials, return of plants to soil nutrients is accelerated, and the soil fertility can be rapidly improved; mycorrhizal seedlings are adopted for vegetation recovery, the capability of resisting external stress interference in the initial stage of vegetation recovery is enhanced, and the vegetation recovery speed is increased.
