The rapid maintenance structure for the plate girder hinge joint comprises an anti-crack paste, a U-shaped steel bar, an asphalt lower surface layer, polyester glass fiber cloth and an asphalt upper surface layer. According to the rapid maintenance method for the plate girder hinge joint, the U-shaped steel bars are implanted into the plate girders in a punching mode, the hinge joint between the plate girders is reinforced through the anti-crack paste and the polyester glass fiber cloth, the lower asphalt surface layer and the upper asphalt surface layer are compacted in a layered mode to form an integral structure, and therefore the hinge joint between the plate girders is rapidly reinforced.
