The invention relates to the technical field of concrete, and provides radiation-proof high-strength concrete and a preparation method thereof. The concrete is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 300 to 340 parts of cement, 150 to 160 parts of water, 1000 to 1100 parts of barite sand, 1400 to 1600 parts of gravel, 60 to 80 parts of borocalcite powder, 8 to 10 parts of polycarboxylate superplasticizer and 60 to 80 parts of modifier. The modifier contains an adamantane structure, a borate structure and carboxyl. The concrete with good gamma ray and neutron ray shielding capability is prepared by the method disclosed by the invention, and the mechanical strength of the radiation-proof concrete can be improved by utilizing the high hardness of an adamantane structure and the complexing capability of carboxyl on Ca < 2 + >.
