The invention discloses a composite material inhaul cable and an anchoring method, the composite material inhaul cable is formed by winding or weaving e bundles of cable bodies, and anchoring of the composite material inhaul cable is carried out by adopting a method that the split cable bodies are spirally wound on a fixing piece for k circles or the tail ends of the cable bodies are inserted into the cable bodies in a penetrating mode. The cable bodies which are mutually wound together at the split positions can form a constraint relation, a vertical fastening device for the main cable bodies at the split positions can be omitted, and meanwhile, the cable bodies are self-locked through the winding rods, and anchoring of the inhaul cable is achieved through friction force generated by mutual weaving of the tail ends of the cable bodies and the cable bodies.
