An assembly for an earthmoving machine comprising: a first member being a wear element for a digging instrument and a second member coupled with the first member, the second member being a digging instrument or a second wear element for a digging instrument, the first member comprising: a first cavity adapted to receive at least one sensor, and a channel adapted to receive at least one electrical wire; and at least one electrical wire, where the one or more electrical wires are introduced into both the channel and the first cavity and attached to the second member. In addition, an earthmoving machine comprising the assembly and a method for wiring are also provided.
