The invention discloses a track dust collection device capable of automatically ascending and descending, which adopts a track flat car as a mounting platform, a dust collection related negative pressure and filter system is placed above the track flat car, a laser radar is placed at the front end, a stand column is mounted at the bottom of the track flat car, and a brush disc device is mounted on the stand column through a connecting rod. The auxiliary trolley is installed on the stand column through a connecting rod, and the dust suction opening device is installed on a frame of the auxiliary trolley through a hinge. In the working state, the brush disc device sweeps off metal dust particles attached to a ballast bed and primarily concentrates the metal dust particles, then negative pressure suction is conducted through the dust suction opening device, and dust generated after steel rail polishing is collected and cleared away. When the laser radar detects that equipment needing to be avoided exists in front, the control system automatically completes lifting of the brush disc and the dust suction opening device, and the whole device is made to be away from a ballast bed. The automatic degree of dust collection operation is improved, the obstacle avoidance effect is good, the dust collection effect is good, the coverage area is wide, and the application range is wide.
