The embodiment of the invention provides a photovoltaic water collection system suitable for a stony desertification area. The photovoltaic water collection system comprises a water collection membrane assembly, a transverse water collection tank, a longitudinal water collection tank and a bottom water collection tank. The transverse water collecting tanks are arranged between adjacent photovoltaic modules of the photovoltaic module array; the longitudinal water collecting tank is respectively communicated with the transverse photovoltaic module and the bottom water collecting tank; the photovoltaic module comprises a first fixing part; the water collecting film assembly comprises a water collecting film, a film reel and a reel support; the reel support is arranged in the transverse water collecting tank; the film reel is arranged on the reel support; the water collecting film is arranged on the film reel; wherein the water collecting film is drawn out and recycled by utilizing the film reel; when the water collecting film is drawn out, the water collecting film is fixed on the photovoltaic module through connection with the first fixing part, so that the water collecting film is used for collecting rainwater and shielding the ground surface at the photovoltaic module; rainwater collected by the water collecting film converges into the bottom water collecting pool through the transverse water collecting grooves and the longitudinal water collecting grooves.
