Water-soluble core mold material and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a water-soluble core mold material and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of core mold material preparation. The water-soluble core mold material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 350 to 450 parts of quartz sand and 50 to 70 parts of binder glue solution, and the adhesive glue solution is formed by compounding a carboxylated PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) 1780 solution and a PVA 2488 solution. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the carboxylation modified PVA1780 and PVA2488 are compounded to prepare the core mold material, and the excellent water solubility of the carboxylation PVA1780 and the better thermodynamic property of the PVA2488 are combined, so that the water-soluble core mold material which is compatible and adjustable in water solubility and high-temperature mechanical strength is obtained; and compared with a water-soluble core mold prepared from single polyvinyl alcohol, the water-soluble core mold has higher high-temperature mechanical strength and water solubility.
