The invention provides a platform door system adopting a redundant PEDC board card, and the system comprises a plurality of platform door subsystems which are mutually independent and respectively correspond to different train directions, and each platform door subsystem comprises a main PEDC board and a slave PEDC board which are mutually connected in parallel; the hard wire input interfaces of the main PEDC board and the slave PEDC board which are connected in parallel are connected in parallel, the hard wire output interfaces of the main PEDC board and the slave PEDC board which are connected in parallel are connected in parallel, and the main PEDC board and the slave PEDC board which are connected in parallel are connected and communicated through a communication interface, so that clocks are synchronized; the main PEDC board and the slave PEDC board which are mutually connected in parallel are respectively connected in parallel with a hard line circuit of the DCU through door opening and closing hard lines which are mutually redundant, and are respectively connected in parallel with a communication line of the DCU through a redundant CAN (Controller Area Network) bus; the master PEDC board and the slave PEDC board which are connected in parallel are respectively connected with the monitoring host of the platform door system through two independent interfaces, so that the running quality of a train can be improved.
