The invention discloses a truss steel structure joint and a machining method of the truss steel structure joint. The truss steel structure joint comprises an H-shaped steel column, a truss bracket and two flange plates. The H-shaped steel column comprises a first wing plate, a second wing plate and a web plate, wherein the first wing plate and the second wing plate are oppositely arranged, and the web plate is connected between the first wing plate and the second wing plate. The truss bracket is connected with the outer surface, back on to the web plate, of the first wing plate; the flange plates comprise a column body flange plate and a bracket flange plate, the column body flange plate and the bracket flange plate are two independent plates, the column body flange plate and the bracket flange plate are connected together in a welded mode, the column body flange plate is connected to the first flange plate and the second flange plate in a bridging mode, and the first flange plate and the second flange plate are connected in a welded mode. The two bracket flange plates are connected with the two sides of the truss bracket respectively. Therefore, full penetration welding of the inner partition plate in the H-shaped steel column can be facilitated, the strength of the H-shaped steel column is improved, the bending procedure of the flange plate can be omitted, and loss of plate raw materials can be reduced.
