The invention discloses a starch-polycarboxylic acid composite slump-retaining water reducing agent and application thereof.The starch-polycarboxylic acid composite slump-retaining water reducing agent is prepared from, by weight, 250-300 parts of polyether macromonomer, 140-210 parts of water, 0.8-1.2 parts of ammonium persulfate, 20-30 parts of acrylic acid and 5-10 parts of starch through a double bond addition-graft copolymerization reaction, and the starch-polycarboxylic acid composite slump-retaining water reducing agent is prepared from, by weight, 250-300 parts of polyether macromonomer, 140-210 parts of water, 0.8-1.2 parts of ammonium persulfate, 20-30 parts of acrylic acid and 5-10 parts of starch. The coating is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 5-10 parts of acrylic ester, 5-10 parts of a silane coupling agent, 0.3-0.4 part of mercaptoethanol and 0.2-0.3 part of vitamin C. The starch-polycarboxylic acid composite slump-retaining water reducing agent with a starch chain segment, a siloxane group and an acrylate group is synthesized by blocking a polyether macromonomer, acrylate, acrylic acid, a silane coupling agent and a starch substance, and the starch-polycarboxylic acid composite slump-retaining water reducing agent is mixed into concrete. Good slump retaining performance, water retention performance and compressive strength can be brought to concrete.
