The invention discloses a bridge damping device, and relates to the field of bridge damping, the bridge damping device comprises a water tank filled with water, the water tank is arranged between two straining beams of a bridge pier, a water level adjusting system used for adjusting the water level height is arranged in the water tank, and the water level adjusting system comprises a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe, a liquid level meter and an electric control valve; one end of the water inlet pipe is communicated with the water tank, the other end of the water inlet pipe extends to a bridge floor and is used for guiding rainwater on the bridge floor into the water tank, and the water outlet pipe is arranged at the bottom of the water tank and is used for discharging water in the water tank; the electric control valve is arranged on the water outlet pipe and is in signal connection with the liquid level meter for opening and closing the water outlet pipe; by installing the water tank between the two straining beams, the bridge mass can be increased, the acceleration of the bridge under the earthquake action is reduced, meanwhile, the overall vibration of the bridge is reduced through swinging of water in the water tank, and the purpose of reducing seismic waves is achieved.
