Method for producing active magnesium oxide through hydrogenation refining of magnesium carbonate and extracting nickel and cobalt
The invention provides a method for producing active magnesium oxide through hydrogenation refining of magnesium carbonate and precipitating nickel and cobalt. The method comprises the following steps: (1) reducing and refining magnesium carbonate and transition metal doped magnesium carbonate under a hydrogen atmosphere condition to produce active magnesium oxide, converting carbon in the magnesium carbonate into CH4 and other high-value gases, and reducing the emission of CO2; and (2) active magnesium oxide is used as an alkaline precipitator for increasing the pH value of the solution containing cobalt and nickel ions to form cobalt and nickel hydroxide precipitates, so that cobalt and nickel are separated. According to the method, carbon in magnesium carbonate can be converted into CH4 and other high-value gases, emission reduction of CO2 in the magnesium carbonate pyrolysis process is achieved, the decomposition temperature of magnesium carbonate is reduced, and production energy consumption is reduced; and active magnesium oxide with high specific surface area can be obtained, can be used as an alkaline precipitator for extracting nickel and cobalt resources, and has higher economic value.
本发明提供一种碳酸镁加氢炼制生产活性氧化镁并用于沉淀镍、钴的方法。该方法包括:(1)碳酸镁及过渡金属掺杂碳酸镁在氢气氛条件下还原炼制生产活性氧化镁,并将碳酸镁中的碳转化为CH4等高值气体,减少CO2的排放;(2)将活性氧化镁作为碱性沉淀剂,用于提高含有钴、镍离子溶液的pH值,形成钴、镍氢氧化物沉淀,从而将钴、镍进行分离。该方法既可以将碳酸镁中的碳转化为CH4等高值气体,实现碳酸镁热解过程CO2的减排,降低碳酸镁的分解温度,减少生产能耗;又能获得高比表面积的活性氧化镁,并作为碱性沉淀剂用于镍、钴资源的提取,具有更高的经济价值。
