The invention provides a highway pavement quality detection device which is characterized in that a plurality of detection wheels are equidistantly mounted at the lower end of a machine body, a plurality of protective cover boxes are mounted on the upper end surface of the machine body, and detection mechanisms which are connected with the detection wheels and are used for recording vertical movement data of the detection wheels are mounted in the protective cover boxes; the detection mechanism comprises a ratchet wheel, a push hook and a pull hook, the bending angle of the tail end of the push hook is an obtuse angle, the bending angle of the tail end of the pull hook is an acute angle, the push hook and the pull hook are symmetrically connected to gear teeth on the two sides of the ratchet wheel respectively, the head ends of the push hook and the pull hook are connected with a detection wheel, and the push hook and the pull hook jump on the ratchet wheel along with vertical movement of the detection wheel. And the up-down displacement of the detection wheel is reflected by respectively recording the jumping times of the push hook and the pull hook. The device is scientific and reasonable in structural design, easy to operate, capable of reflecting the pavement flatness through sensor data, high in detection efficiency, accurate in detection result and capable of being used and popularized.
