The open pit coal mine slope treatment method comprises the following steps that a slope is evenly divided into a plurality of cells, and a first drill hole and a second drill hole are formed in each cell at intervals; vertically drilling from the first drilling hole to form a first vertical well, lowering a first screen pipe into the first vertical well, obliquely drilling from the second drilling hole to form a first inclined well, and enabling the end part, far away from the second drilling hole, of the first inclined well to be in butt joint with the end part, far away from the first drilling hole, of the first vertical well, after butt joint, a second screen pipe is lowered into the first inclined shaft; and grouting is conducted on the first vertical well and the first inclined well. Therefore, the grout can be injected into cracks and gaps of the side slope, so that unconsolidated layers, gaps and the like of the side slope are tighter, the overall strength and anti-skid performance of the side slope are improved, the bearing capacity of soil is effectively improved, the compactness of the soil at all positions of the side slope is more uniform, and the service life of the side slope is prolonged. Therefore, side slope deformation and settlement caused by unbalanced bearing of the slope top foundation and the slope toe foundation are reduced.
