The masonry structure wood column comprises a log column, a later additionally built wall body,-shaped tie steel bars and ventilation drainage holes, the post-added wall body is of a masonry structure and wraps the log column; the-shaped steel tie bars are arranged on the left side and the right side of the log column respectively to form a group; one group of the-shaped steel tie bars is arranged every 300 mm or one group of the-shaped steel tie bars is arranged every five bricks; the ventilation and drainage holes are arranged away from the ground; the bottom of the log column is wrapped by C30 concrete. The method has the most remarkable advantages that the wall bodies are additionally built to reinforce the masonry structure wooden columns, the overall anti-seismic capacity of the original structure can be improved, the new structure and the old structure jointly bear the earthquake effect, and therefore the toughness of a house is enhanced, and structural collapse is prevented.
