The reduction type MXene polycarboxylate superplasticizer is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 0.2 to 1.0 part of MXene, 0.1 to 2.0 parts of methacryloxysilane, 0.001 to 0.005 part of a catalyst, 175 to 225 parts of a polyether monomer, 15 to 40 parts of an unsaturated carboxylic acid small monomer, 0.6 to 1.0 part of a chain transfer agent, 0.4 to 1.0 part of an initiator, 0.2 to 0.5 part of a reducing agent and alkali liquor. The MXene polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent has relatively large steric hindrance, and can improve the fluidity of a concrete mixture; rich active groups and surface charges of the MXene enable the MXene to be well combined with concrete through electrostatic interaction, Van der Waals, hydrogen bonds and other acting forces, so that the workability of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer is improved; the water reducing agent provided by the invention shows good water reducing, slump retaining and shrinkage reducing properties.
