The invention provides an operation control method for a multi-pump parallel constant-pressure water supply system, which comprises the following steps of: S1, operating the system at a set lift H0, and monitoring the total flow Qt of a water outlet of the system in real time; s2, when the total flow Qt is increased, the single-pump efficiency eta is calculated, and eta nlt is judged; if yes, adding one water pump to operate, and if not, continuing to operate according to the current number of water pumps; or when the total flow Qt is reduced, the single-pump efficiency eta is calculated, and eta nlt is judged; if yes, one water pump is reduced to operate, and if not, the water pumps with the current number continue to operate. According to the scheme, the current single pump efficiency is calculated and compared with the single pump efficiency after pump addition/reduction, and the automatic pump addition/reduction logic is executed according to the comparison result, so that compared with the traditional method for executing pump addition/reduction by setting the operation frequency, the system is always maintained to work in a high-efficiency area, and the energy consumption of the system is reduced.
