An upper rotating body (102) attached to the lower traveling body (101) so as to be rotatable relative to the lower traveling body (101); a boom (104) attached to the upper rotating body (102) so as to be able to move up and down; an arm (105) attached to the boom (104) so as to be able to bend; and a bucket (106) attached to the arm (105) so as to be able to bend. A power control device (4) for an electric construction machine, said power control device (4) being provided with: a drive information acquisition unit (47) that acquires drive information for each actuator (2); a recognition unit (45) that recognizes, on the basis of the drive information, the operation of the electric construction machine by means of the lower traveling body (101), the upper rotating body (102), the boom (104), the arm (105), and the bucket (106); and a determination unit (44) that determines the power to be supplied to the plurality of drive units on the basis of the recognized operation of the electric construction machine.
