The invention belongs to the technical field of ceramic processing, and discloses a treatment method for improving aluminum oxide ceramic strength, which comprises the following steps: step 1, putting a compound salt into an aluminum oxide crucible and heating until the compound salt is molten, the radius of the metal cation in the compound salt is greater than that of at least one metal cation in the matrix of the aluminum oxide ceramic. Step 2, soaking the aluminum oxide ceramic in the molten compound salt for a certain time under the pressurizing condition of argon or hydrogen atmosphere to realize ion exchange; and 3, taking out the aluminum oxide ceramic, and cooling. The surface stress state of the aluminum oxide ceramic is improved by utilizing an ion exchange technology, so that the strength of the obtained aluminum oxide ceramic can be obviously improved, and the problems that the strength of the aluminum oxide ceramic is relatively low and the strength is further reduced after machining are solved.
本发明属于陶瓷加工技术领域,公开了一种提高氧化铝陶瓷强度的处理方法,包括下列步骤:步骤一、将化合物盐置入氧化铝坩埚中并加热至熔融,所述化合物盐为硝酸盐或亚硝酸盐或二者混合形成的复合盐,所述化合物盐中的金属阳离子的半径大于所述氧化铝陶瓷的基体中的至少一种金属阳离子。步骤二、将氧化铝陶瓷浸泡于熔融的化合物盐中,在氩气或者氢气氛围的加压条件下,浸泡一定时间实现离子交换。步骤三、取出氧化铝陶瓷后冷却降温。本发明利用离子交换技术来改善氧化铝陶瓷的表面应力状态,使获得的氧化铝陶瓷强度能得到明显改善,从而解决氧化铝陶瓷强度较低,且在机械加工后强度进一步降低的问题。
