The automatic locking device comprises an encoder assembly, a control starting device, a closed-loop control system, a slewing bearing mechanism 3 and a locking mechanism; the encoder assembly is used for detecting the rotation angle # imgabs0 # of the rotation platform relative to the dumping plough lower vehicle and can feed back the detected rotation angle # imgabs1 # to the closed-loop control system. The locking mechanism comprises a locking pin, a pin hole and a pin body driving mechanism for driving the locking pin to move up and down; the closed-loop control system comprises a locking position judgment module, a first execution signal output sub-module and a second execution signal output sub-module. Therefore, the automatic locking device automatically, safely and accurately aligns the upper vehicle locking pin with the lower vehicle pin hole, drives the locking pin to be downwards inserted into the pin hole, and can quickly and automatically realize locking between the rotary platform and the lower vehicle of the dumping plough.
