The invention discloses a staggered embedded assembly type ecological embankment retaining wall which comprises a retaining wall foundation and retaining wall body units fixed to the retaining wall foundation in a stacked mode, each retaining wall body unit comprises an outer wall precast block, first precast blocks and second precast blocks, and the same outer wall precast block is spliced with at least two different first precast blocks; or the same outer wall precast block is spliced with at least two different second precast blocks; the same first precast block is spliced with at least two different second precast blocks, or the same first precast block is spliced with at least two different first precast blocks; the upper and lower adjacent outer wall prefabricated blocks are arranged in a staggered mode and connected through the reinforcing pieces. The plane and the longitudinal surface of the retaining wall are staggered and embedded, so that the retaining wall structure is tightly connected, and the stability and the shear resistance of the retaining wall structure are greatly improved; all the precast blocks are standard parts, the construction cost is effectively saved, only all the precast blocks need to be assembled during construction, and the construction period is shortened.
