The invention discloses a 360-degree vertical lockrand metal roof sliding support and a base thereof. The base comprises a bottom plate, a first side plate, a second side plate, a first vertical plate and a second vertical plate. A first lower sliding notch is formed in the joint of the first plate part and the second plate part of the first side plate. A second lower sliding notch is formed in the joint of the third plate part and the fourth plate part of the second side plate; the first lower sliding notch and the second lower sliding notch form a lower sliding way with an upward opening. A first upper sliding notch is defined between the lower end of the first vertical plate and the first plate part. A second upper sliding notch is defined between the lower end of the second vertical plate and the third plate part. The first upper sliding notch and the second upper sliding notch form an upper sliding way which is provided with a downward opening and is parallel to the lower sliding way. The structures forming the slide ways are all associated with the side plates, so that the base and the sliding frame are substantially not connected through a single edge any more, the connection firmness is remarkably improved, and the bearing influence caused by the eccentric distance is reduced.
