Method for metallizing inner surface of pipe made of ceramic or ceramic-based composite material
The invention relates to a method for metallizing an inner surface (14) of a pipe (12) made of a ceramic or ceramic matrix composite material. This method comprises at least the following steps: plating a metal tube (10) on the inner surface (14) of a ceramic or ceramic matrix composite tube (12), and is characterized in that the plating comprises creeping the metal tube (10) by applying an internal pressure to the tube (10) and heating, the creeping causing an increase in the outer diameter (d1) of the metal tube (10), and the creeping causing an increase in the outer diameter (d2) of the metal tube (10) to the inner surface (14) of the ceramic or ceramic matrix composite tube (12). Until the outer surface (16) of the metal tube is pressed against the inner surface (14) of the ceramic or ceramic matrix composite tube (12). The invention also relates to a method for producing a tubular nuclear fuel cladding implementing the metallization method.
