The invention discloses a modularized steel structure hospital building and an installation method. The modularized steel structure hospital building comprises hospital room units and connecting units used for connecting the hospital room units. Each hospital room unit comprises four first side plates and two second side plates; wherein the side edges of the four first side plates are sequentially connected to form a foldable wall body; the two second side plates are hinged to the first side plate at the head end or the tail end at the same time. Side edge supporting plates perpendicular to the second side plates are hinged to the center parts of the two second side plates; a middle supporting plate perpendicular to the first side plate is hinged to the center of the first side plate away from the second side plate. Each vertical corner of each hospital room unit is fixedly connected with a connecting block; at least two hospital room units form one group to form a single-storey building; fixing mechanisms matched with the connecting blocks are arranged at the upper end and the lower end of the single-storey building correspondingly. And the building modules are detachably connected, so that the construction period is shortened, and meanwhile, the building modules can be repeatedly used.
