The invention discloses a process for treating nonferrous smelting wastewater by a beneficiation method, which belongs to the technical field of nonferrous metallurgy and beneficiation, and comprises the following steps: S1, recovering acidic wastewater generated by production of each smelting plant into an acidic wastewater PH regulating tank, and adding an alkaline substance into the acidic wastewater PH regulating tank to neutralize the acidic wastewater; s2, discharging the standard smelting water reaching the standard after neutralization to a reservoir, wherein the reservoir is connected with a reservoir through a water pump in a water pump room; s3, the reservoir conveys water to the beneficiation grinding and floating plant, the beneficiation grinding and floating plant is connected with the tailings and the concentrates through water ways, S5, the total tailings water return way and the concentrate water return way are converged at one position, finally, the water is conveyed into the reservoir, and circulation is conducted in this way.
