The ardealite sintered ceramsite for the water treatment filter material is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 35 to 45 parts of ardealite which is respectively sieved by a 100-mesh sieve, 20 to 23 parts of machine-made sand slurry, 20 to 25 parts of graphite tailings, 8 to 12 parts of sludge incineration slag, 5 to 7 parts of sludge incineration slag, 5 parts of a pore-forming agent and 25 to 30 parts of water. According to the ardealite sintered ceramsite for the water treatment filter material, which is prepared by matching the raw materials, excessive ardealite cannot generate a liquid phase and cannot achieve a wrapping effect. Therefore, the ceramsite is relatively low in strength and high in water absorption rate. The less phosphogypsum is, the more conforming to the traditional ceramsite is, the strength is high, and the water absorption rate is low. By reasonably doping the phosphogypsum, the effect can be achieved, and the phosphogypsum can be consumed.
