The invention provides a connecting structure and a modular building connecting node, and the connecting structure comprises a connecting piece which comprises a connecting plate and plugs arranged on the upper surface and the lower surface of the connecting plate; the sleeve sleeves the peripheral side of the plug; the self-locking head comprises a plurality of fasteners movably arranged between the sleeve and the plug, the plurality of fasteners enclose to form an insertion cavity for the plug to be inserted, and the elastic piece is arranged between the inner side wall of the sleeve and the fasteners; first meshing structures matched with each other are arranged between the fastener and the inner side wall of the sleeve, and second meshing structures matched with each other are arranged between the fastener and the plug. According to the connecting structure, self-locking type connection can be achieved through the gravity of the components, the site construction difficulty is greatly reduced, and the whole site construction process is dry type operation; meanwhile, due to the arrangement of the elastic pieces, the upper module and the lower module can move in a staggered mode under the acting force in the horizontal direction, and flexible connection between the modules is formed.
