The invention provides a connecting joint of a modular steel structure. The connecting joint comprises an upper module, a lower module, a connecting assembly and a fastener. The lower module is located below the upper module and comprises a lower module column and a lower inner partition plate, the lower module column extends in the vertical direction and is provided with a lower containing cavity, the lower inner partition plate is located in the lower containing cavity and connected to the inner wall of the lower module column, and the lower inner partition plate is provided with a connecting hole. The connecting assembly is connected to the upper module and the lower module and comprises a bottom plate, the bottom plate is located in the lower containing cavity and abuts against the top surface of the lower inner partition plate, and the bottom plate is provided with fixing holes corresponding to the connecting holes. The fastener penetrates through the fixing hole and is connected to the connecting hole, so that the bottom plate is fixed to the lower inner partition plate. According to the connecting joint, the bottom plate can improve the stability of the connecting assembly placed on the lower module, the fixing holes of the bottom plate correspond to the connecting holes of the lower inner partition plate in a matched mode, the connecting assembly can be conveniently positioned, and the mounting precision of the connecting assembly and the lower module is improved.
